Vacation plans aside, I think I'm going to have to be very careful when I decide to go blading this week. Saturday hit 101, Sunday got to 104, today and tomorrow are projected at 107, and Wednesday is looking to be 109. I think it's time to get out of Dodge...

...but it's not looking like the central coast, and that's more or less okay with the temps setting up the weather pattern for mid-state: when it's that hot here, the central coast tends to stay shrouded in fog all day and doesn't break 60F some days. Ummm... Yeah, okay for a day or two, but too much of that and the entire gang gets cabin fever...

So it looks like maybe we'll do some travelling a little more to the north: we haven't been to Bonfante Gardens for a few years, and the boys are a little older now and more likely to be able to appreciate the Monterey Aquarium....

Yeah, that's looking good...

Tuesday

You age, you lose a step. ...or maybe you learn a thing or two. I like to think that my regimen of megavitamins, blading and yoga works to keep me on at least a medium keel. Yeah, I'm overweight and could use a little more self discipline, but I do what I can with what I have...

WT? was that all about? Well, Shelley needed a tuneup from our local Palmer practitioner the other week and decided she really didn't need her final followup visit yesterday. Thinking all in the family works, I took her slot since my right scapular area had something going on I just couldn't seem to get too. ...and coolness, he seems to have fixed things rather nicely!

...but also nice was following along and realizing he really didn't have much to do with my hips and virtually nothing to do on my neck!

Now to maintain that for another few decades, -eh?

Wednesday

Well, when you're trying to get packed so you can leave, what could be better than having the dryer just stop working? ...and maybe it's my age showing, but hey, when it's 100+ outside, I just don't see much of a problem. I mean as long as you don't run out of chairs and places to hang things...

Yeah, yeah, I know, permanent press doesn't...

I'm offline for a few days. Yes, I'll survive. Well, maybe except for the late night shakes and such. Sheila has the blog pics to post (thanks!); if you need something please contact her.

Have a good day!

Thursday

Nope, nothin' to see here folks...

Friday

Hey, we're back and safe and all that...

...but, man, are we tired!

Saturday

Today more or less never got on track. I went blading shortly after I got up in hopes of beating the heat, and that worked out okay. ...but the day's adventures had us all out and about on unplanned errands and we only finally settled down in time for the evening's showing of the Olympics.

I guess we'll try again Sunday...

Sunday

A day of not rest...

You expected something different?
