Daily doings in the land of The Time Sink
It's evenings like this...

...when I miss my sled. It's been one of those springish days we get this time of year when the weather just teases you about how it will be in another month or so. Still, in the mid-sixties, with a hint of moisture, and the smell of the cool, clean air...

Yeah, you'd need leathers. ...and the old beast was a rice burner. But man, this was an evening for making the run out to Centerville and back.

<Sigh...>

Well, that was fun...
Valentine's Day

Maybe I'll try something like that again sometime...

Oh, yeah???

Well, we'll just see, missy!

Heh... I managed to drag Flat Stanley's tailor (one Mr. Bradley of California) away from his Legos long enough to craft a tool belt and tools for our intrepid traveler...

Ready to work!

One doorbell circuit, coming right up!

I can't let this one pass...

...with out adding my own Amen.

Dave's original post on Luke is here.

...and here, if you're the adventurous sort.

By popular request...

It seems more than one person thought it would be a good idea for Flat Stanley to get some exercise while he was visiting the Golden State...

Stanley is ready to head on out...

You may wish to avoid the click through unless you have your rose-colored glasses on...

Speaking of flashbacks, Cecil's getting as bad as Kitty at regenerating musical memories I thought were long gone...

I thought no one other than me ever bought any of John Stewart's music after he left the Kingston Trio! Man, Lost Her in the Sun, and that hard, pounding beat from Comin' out of Nowhere/Heart of the Dream... I haven't heard that album for over a decade and here it is working in my head like it's 1980 all over again...

Oh, and he has another key piece of the Why I Blog puzzle hidden there in plain site (pun intended); have a read...

Flat Stanley helps out...

Heh. I started my morning with a DMV project... I hadn't been looking forward to it at all; but then I remembered I brought my helper in today:

Flat Stanley helping out...

Sometimes a smiling face...
