Baby Pics!~!~!

No, not mine... Sheesh.

Anyway, Lynn from over on the Back Porch is a grandmother! Oh, yeah; she's real calm about it.

Speaking of projects...

If you haven't been by Janet's place lately, she's moved her Shadows project to a new location. ...and re-did her entry page.

Sheesh; I thought I was busy...

Then again, some people change site designs more often than they change their slippers...

Whew...

This is one week I will not mind having behind me. Three nights in the sleep deprivation clinic and two days returning to work after having a day off... Yeah, that's not a good mix at all.

I did manage to get a few things done though; after all, if they're not letting you sleep, you can at least work on a project or two. My latest obsession was converting the sidebar linkage on my links page into squares ala Ann's Square jPegs page. Yeah, that was a time sink <g>...

Thursday Threesome...

Onesome. Love. Ever felt that "unconditional love"? Tell us about it... God... (Yeah, you knew that would be coming from me <g>.) ...and Shelley. ...and the boys. ...and a few others out there.

Twosome. Labors. What was your first paying job (not counting baby-sitting)? (Discounting the paper route as the male equivalent of baby-sitting), I joined the fire department at the local state university in 1969. ...and the rest, as they say, is history.

Threesome. Lost. Have a knack for losing things? Is there something you lose "all the time"? You mean, besides my mind and my temper? ...and what the heck I was doing before the last interruption? ...or what that really important thing was I was going to do as soon as I had time. Hmmm... I'm seeing a trend here...

How about you?4/4/2002 9:04:19 AM

Sorry about the attitude earlier today...

... for those who had to put up with it <g>. I finally figured it out on the way back from the shopping run: downtown is a mess because of roadwork; and I was watching this delivery truck negotiate a path closer to the curb than normal (as we inched along past the traffic signals locked on blinking red). Every time he brushed a tree, a cloud of pollen was kicked into the air...

"Oh-ho", said my brain...

"Doh!", said my nose...

You gotta' wonder...

Things that worry me:

Walking by the IT minion's office and seeing a blue-screen message...

His boss is coolness: he keeps his monitor facing away from his door...

Another accomplishment...

...but not mine by any means: one of those designer types just put up the spring version of her portal! Way cool and breezy looking...

...and while you're there, don't miss the splash page for she who must remain nameless <g>.

Made it!

The physical count is done. The auditor is happy with our work. Things were shut down for the absolute minimum time. The paperwork is collated.

All that's left is a ton of spreadsheet work and data entry...

...but that's for another day. We have the usual "first of the week" stuff to get accomplished.

Stuck in Lodi again...

Well, Clovis, but it's not like it's a problem... This morning both the guys were up early (I'll let Shelley tell that story) and we thought that was why Bradley fell asleep in church. ...until we got home to find he had a 102.4F temp.

I told Shelley that I'd gladly throw myself on the grenade for the family; that meant I could stay home and not have to go to the soiree this afternoon would accept the role of primary caregiver and take care of Brad while Shelley and Daniel went to the boys' godmother's for an Easter get together.

So that's what we did. ...and I watched way too many really lame cartoons while I hydrated Bradley and checked his temp. Heck, I even passed out in the chair at one point. ...and thought that was a bit strange. ...until I found I was running right at 100F myself.

Ah, well. It's evening now and everything seems to be better. Shelley and Daniel are home safely; our temps are down; and the boys got to hunt Easter eggs in the back yard after all...

I hope your day went well...

Happy Easter!

Yeah, you knew I'd do something <g>!
