Onesome: Great- Who's the greatest influence in your life? ...and could you write about them? (Hey, it's NaNoWriMo!) Hmmm. God? Like there's another choice for me? ...and yeah, I write from time to time.
Twosome: American- Who do you consider to be the greatest American writer of all time? Counterpoint: whose books are sitting on your nightstand? Granted. I'm just not in a position to judge the heavy literary greats as I am relatively unread, but I'll throw Robert Anson Heinlein in as one of the more influential writers to have an effect on my generation... Counterpoint? Mostly SciFi stuff by Drake, Weber and Modesitt...
Threesome: Novel- What's your favourite book/novel? Hmmm... What's so special about that one book? Staying with Heinlein: "Stranger in a Strange Land". Without a doubt that novel had the most profound influence of any contemporary book when it came out. It's still on my re-read list...
