Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday Saturday Sunday...and after a very clear, cool weekend, we have rain scheduled in again today. It's looking like we may have a wet Spring after all. Hopefully the snowpack reports will show us at or above the seasonal average; we're due for some backup in the water supply. We ended up with a little too much on the weekend platter after all. Saturday burned us up a bit, but Sunday had a few things going we hadn't planned on; some things aren't as finished as they could be. If Shlelley isn't subbing as much this week she should be able to catch up on her portion. I'm stuck until we can get the worksheet done on the new medication injection system. I have the steps mapped out, and Daniel was nice enough to data entry the raw information for me; but there's some fine tuning to do before we take it public. A few more evenings, maybe... Not much to say today... Work was full and I spent the evening working on the update to the Betaseron injection page. Daniel's data entry helped a lot; I was able to concentrate on editing and how things are in the real world. Tonight I'll run a training session for Shelley and another lady and we'll see how well things go. I'm hoping to have it ready in time for some other people to utilize as they change over to the new system... Last night's MS 'class' went well; both Shelley and the other gal were able to use my modified instructions to follow along and then set up their own dummy shot kits. ...and it's not that the instructions as provided from the manufacturer are a problem; it's more that there's a level of real world that needs to be met for the every-other-day user. ...and the fact that having everything on one set of pages helps (the set up and the injection instructions are supplied separately). I'm going to go ahead and post a 'final draft' of "Instructions for Preparing and Injecting Betaseron using an Autoject 2.25" so a couple of people can get to it and look it over before the next review session (we have at least one more MS patient coming by to go over the new system). Feel free to give it a look and tear it apart; I have a very bad case of "forest/trees" syndrome <g>! I was dinking around the other night trying to see if my lowly HP 712 printer could actually do anything worthwhile in the photo arena. ...and at the same time I had a couple of frames I'd picked up on the cheap at Target. I don't think I'm going to be giving any of the high class crowd any competition, but I think for a first attempt, things turned out okay... ...and yes, I had to have someone else take that shot because my camera just won't deal with four layers of glass <g>! You know you're in trouble on a kid's homework assignment when you have two private site pages called up for reference and yet another from Purdue because "That's not what the teacher said!"... Well, the Home and Garden show was a bit of a bust for us... We went in looking for vendors doing fence work and couldn't find a one! ...but the boys got to junk out on food a bit and Shelley and I had chance to just look around at things by ourselves, so it worked out okay. Speaking of workouts, today was one of those very nice days we get in early Spring some years: it was pushing 70F easily and that meant blading attire was swim trunks and a tank top! Woo hoo! ...and I'm betting I was out long enough to start working on a bit of a tan <g>! Today is scheduled as a "snow day" for us. We're heading off to the 8000 foot level to play in the snow for a the afternoon. ...and stopping at a mid-mountain pizza place on the way down. The weather should be clear and cool, and we're betting the powder from last week's storm is still pretty good! ...and to continue the saga of seeing how things would work on my older HP printer, I tried a larger picture and it turned out well enough to frame. I put it up with a print of one of Lori Rase Hall's water colors on one wall of the office: I have a full-sized water color that arrived yesterday that will be going up in the office in Monday. ...and I have one of my photos that might make a nice complement to it to try on the same wall. I'll toss a shot or two in here from time to time, but it looks like my wolves are going to be hibernating this summer.
