Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday Saturday SundayWell, we think we finally have the pieces of the puzzle in place. Daniel's at camp this week; Brad's going to a volleyball camp in the mornings; I'm playing catchup at work; and Shelley is trying to coordinate the household when she has a moment... Okay... I've officially had enough of the heat. I'm done. Hump day and a very brief update: Daniel is doing okay at camp and Shelley is surviving (barely: she's never had one of her 'babies' gone this long before). Brad is handling the absence of his chief foil as best he can, but volley ball camp is only taking up his mornings. Well, we're nearly there: Brad is done with volleyball camp and Daniel will be home tomorrow... Some of you may recall the older title for the blog was "The Theatre of the Absurd". I may have to change it back to that: tonight bits and pieces of thunderstorms started making their way westward over the Sierra Nevadas and into the valley. Yeah, add some serious humidity into the 106 to 110 days. ...and now they're talking about maybe a full storm spilling over by Tuesday. Last night's news used the term "monsoon" the same sentence as "central valley weather"... Yeah, I think we timed our vacation just about right! Yep, we're over on the coast again; we'll be here for a few days soaking up the fog and the cool weather. Expect late mornings and later nights from me... Truly a day of rest... Daniel got up and fell back asleep on the couch, something not unreasonable as he's grown an inch and a half since May. Brad and I went for a photo walk on the beach then came back and split a calzone for brunch. The boys did something quiet in the afternoon while both Shelley and I took naps. ...and the evening was spent kicking back with books and music.
