Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday Saturday SundayLife intrudes... Allergies and decisions to be made for school for next year aren't the best mix. Still, we think we have a direction for both the boys and a computer picked out for Brad to use probably pretty much all the way through. That's in theory: the real world tends to just crumble them into post-it note holders after three hard seasons... I'm catching on to what may be some new levels of email blacklisting going on. It's been difficult to get a solid handle on what is happening, but it's looking like mail from blocks of Class A networks are getting the bum's rush from a few places. On of the better ones came from a friend who tried to reach me through my public account at AT&T and had it bounced back to her. I dug through it a little and discovered the blacklist being used was one of AT&T's. Great... I think I only owe emails to Gary, Jenn, and maybe Lo; if anyone else doesh't have a reply from me on somethng, plesse try again. ...and while you're at it you may as well use dan (and a dot) bowman at that gmail . com place. > Midweek... Some geekery this evening, but mostly just trying to get a handle on things before the weekend. Late night once again... Nope, some stuff started, but mostly a family evening... No post... A very full day today around our place: Brad and I started the day off blading together, and then the entire family headed out to Shelley's Mom's graveside for a visit. Then it was off to the boys' godmother's and then my Mom's. ...and then back home for some cleaning for tomorrow (I'm cooking for company) and a sesson learning how to grill chicken with Brad (yep, it turned out okay). Mother's Day, 2006... I think Shelley had a good day overall: first a chance to read the paper without too many interruptions, then an unrushed day getting ready for dinner company. ..."unrushed" in that the boys did most of the cleaning necessary and I did the cooking. Yep, it was tri-tip time again <g>. Brad and I put on five tri-tip steaks around 1030 and I pulled them off and wrapped them around 1530. We also cooked up some darned fine Cajun sausage for brunch. I also put a batch of garlic bread on the smoker after the meat came off. That left salad tossing to Shelley and the other mom. I'd have to say this was one of the few days of the year neither the stove or the oven got fired up (a good idea in this heat: it's been in the 90's lately).
