Monday

Monday at it's finest: back to work after the Sonora trip, with one very full day there; one trip to the dentist to have a crown put in; and the evening spent studying algebra with Daniel for his final tomorrow.

Yeah, I'm done <g>...

Wednesday

Two more days of school... Shelley's been running every which way for the last several days, what with parties for the sixth grade and a finals schedule for for Daniel. ...and I've been doing my best to help destress Daniel and go over the study materials for those finals. ...but man, we're stretched thin.

...and I just realized tonight that I'd never put up an overview of the Outdoor School events to put some of the photos on the blog in context! I even have a decent map link to the photo from the bridge of the lake.

Time, time, time...

Friday

...and the last day of school is today for both the boys. I'm glad, but Shelley's not: our mornings and evenings will no longer be driven by the demands of scheduling and homework, rather by the sound of "I'm bored" from lips in gear before they realize there is a house Shelley would like to be kept clean...

One more day. ...and one nice party this evening.

Saturday

Cleaning the garage...
...setting base.
Recovering from a party...

Move along, folks; there's nothing to see here <g>...

Sunday

All the dining room baseboard is in. ...and I am of the considered opinion that:

  1. There is not a square corner in that room
  2. You simply cannot have gathered too many tools over the years (see above)
  3. I am too out of shape/practice/not enough yoga lately to be crawling around on the floor like that
  4. Small, wiry kids are cool to have around (see above)
  5. Age does bring patience in exchange for loss of flexibility
Currently recharging the dilithium crystals...
