Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday Saturday SundayUmm... Yeah... Yes, it's been busy here: the back to school circus is showing in all three rings and the acts are new this year (less tigers, more bears). Daniel is taking a class in EMS (maybe!) and Brad is up against the concept of "high school prep". Yeah, it's a full time job with his homework. The front yard project project took up much of the weekend. The drain lines are now completely laid out and are ready to be taped; and the false starts are covered so that all is showing is the current work. This weekend's plan is to take up the drain lines, finish the layout for the sprinkler manifold move, remove the spinklers that are no longer needed due to the garden move, finish up the feeds to the drip heads (due to the garden move), and cover the entire mess so we can move on to the next stage. ...and the heat continues out here. We're into the second week of triple digits, but at least the humidity looks to be backing off a bit (we caught the remnants of Hurricane Dean moving up the back of the Sierra Nevadas and the weekend was just rough). ...but the forecast has extended the 101 stuff into next week. ...which begs the fact that it's supposed to be 105 by Friday and that our overnight lows are in the seventies. I can't say that after a full day of loading case lots I'm all that enthused about working on the yard during the week. Eh... Back to school night, Shelley where she teaches and Brad and I at his junior high. Home early and the lawns and gardens are calling. Good grief, a simple afternoon shopping trip ended up with an new garage door opener and an elliptical machine. Coming back up for air... The garage door opener is in; only the cleanup remains.
