Onesome: Through-What torments (or pleasures) do you have to go through to get to your Thanksgiving Day destination? ...or are you one of those who stays home? ...or perhaps someone who works on this holiday? Well, getting up on a day off will be part of the problem <g>; but other than getting the boys and their distractions together, I don't have any major problems getting to Shelley's Dad's house. ...unless the fog rolls in; then it will be a challenge.
Twosome: Thick-Who are you looking forward to seeing this weekend? ...and is this a special gathering with friends and family from far away or more of a routine get together? I really look forward to getting together with my brother in law; he and Shelley have some interplay that is just all sorts of fun to watch. ...and yes, this is one of the few times each year we can even try to get the extended family together.
Threesome: and Thin-Are you going to thin your wallet or purse down a bit on Friday? ...or is it time to do some decorating? ...or are you just glad it's over? No shopping for me; I save all that for December 24th, when men are supposed to shop <g>! Nope, I'll be home dealing with the outside lights and maybe the tree Shelley picked up a few months back.

For all the Netscape 4 users out there: things should be fixed now... I'd hosed part of the page at some point and had to recover it last night. The broken bits should all be fixed, and I did some tidying up while I was in the code. Thanks, Marcia!

Random thoughts...
Those propane turkey roaster things must be coming on strong this year: Sunday, while Brad and I were getting water at the store, the main aisle had five gallon jugs of peanut oil stacked up with the holiday sundries...
One nice thing about all this Starbucks stuff is that if your coffee gets cold, you just add ice and you're good for round two...

Gardening in the middle ages...
No, not how to grow old world roses, although I can manage that... Rather, the observation that as I get older, planting fifty or so bulbs and a flat or so of flowers just shouldn't be done on hands and knees digging with a transplanter...
I'd discovered that gem last year; so for today's attempt at winterizing, I started off by digging up the entire bed and removing about four inches of soil. Hmmm... No need to blade to work the cardiovascular status...
I'll get back to you on the 'after' shot; it was dark by the time I finished...

...and Brad and I've already been out to snap a fog shot or two, hit Starbucks for a jumpstart, stop at the store for some essentials, drop by Jack in the Box for breakfast (of sorts) and return home to check back in on the coughing lady.
