The Thursday Threesome...

Onesome: Three- Hmmm... There's a three day weekend coming up for some people. Do you have Monday off and have some special plans? ...or is this just another weekend (or maybe one with two Sundays)? Yep, Monday is now a day off for us, but I really don't think I'll be taking a break: I have another bed to move and the rest of that room to empty out before Phase II of "Get each kid in his own room" happens. ...and at least one school project. ...and maybe some gardening if the rain lets up. But it is a day off!

Twosome: Blind- It's holiday time once again (tomorrow silly!). Do you have to turn a blind eye to anything when these days come around? ...or are you surprised at what shows up? With the boys, both Shelley and I have to develop 'peripheral blind spots' as they work on Secret Things at the kitchen table (the only place things like glue and glitter are allowed). ...and as for Shelley, I never have figured out where she keeps things.

Threesome: Mice- Enough mousing around! Are you ready for tomorrow? ...or are you stopping by the pushcart people on the way home (I'm betting the guys and gals have really different answers on this one). I've been ready for two weeks!!! How's that for having things lined out? Yeah, strange for me. Heck, I don't even have to drop by the grocery store for a card this time!

Losing it...

So I'm back from blading and walking off the workout and watching this cloud/sunset thing and taking a shot on the way to the mailbox and wondering if it will go all 'colory' on me or just maybe be a cirrious cloud shot...

...and as I turned Shelley's van around to pull it into the garage and noticed sunlight reflecting from a garage door down the side street and wandered down that way and found myself leaning against a fence rail for a while just hanging with the sunset while the air cooled down and the colors changed.
