It's official...
Two out of three cats prefer Daniel's new bed...
...over his old one.
Cat therapy; it's what you need for headaches. ...'cept Lisa, she's one of those dog people <g>.
03/07/2003 11:59:00 PMHeadaches...
After I grammar checked Lisa's rant last night, and after she'd posted it , she wrote wondering why she still had a headache. After all, aren't rants supposed to be "some kind of release"?
To which I replied with:
"No, actually, if you can't let go of it, the headache stays... As I understand it (from deep insight {4 seconds of contemplation}), if you can get the feelings out and let them go, it should help make you feel better (my three parter on WTC/9-11 took three parts and I really didn't expect that at all; but the wound got opened up and at least had a chance to heal). ...but something like this, where you have a fundamental disagreement with someone? Well, what the rant does then is to gather your thoughts from the chaotic mass of things floating around in your head that make you just want to choke some bastard out, into a cohesive, rational, well thought out structure that gives you a good reason to choke some bastard out. The mark of civilization and society is whether we try to choke the bastard out, get drunk, vote, give up, or just move on (another entire process there)."
Looking back, and politics aside (since I don't do much of that here), I think that works: analyze things through the focus of writing it out and you'll at least have a handle on your thoughts. ...and maybe a clue about on what level it's getting to you.
Way too heavy for a Friday night...
03/07/2003 11:30:00 PMWhy pink was almost the Spring look...
...and still might end up that way.

Onesome: Cold Are you a cold weather person and just deal with it or do you prefer temperatures closer to the century mark? Cold weather and I get along okay, as long as there's a fire going! ...but I admit it's a lot easier to cool off by jumping in a pool in the summer than to get warm by jumping in the fire in the winter. So I'll have to say warm weather works better for me. ...at least my arthritis is easier to deal with in the summer.
Twosome: and Misty What makes you misty-eyed? Do you cry at Hallmark commercials or get all sentimental when you hear a specific song? You can tell us, we won't laugh ;) Hmmmm... That's actually a toughy for me... I think maybe Shelley and the boys. I really think they are very special to me. ...and something I never thought I'd ever see.
Threesome: Morning Mornings? ...or evenings? Which is your time of the day? Are you up with the sun or do you help the moon keep the night lit? Oh, I might be up with the sun, but it means nothing at all! As someone else just posted, nothing good can transpire between 0630 and 1130! ...but if you can hang on until 2200 or so? Well, then we'll show you how to light up the night, at least in the blogosphere!
Hey! What about you? Let us know, over on The Back Porch...
Any thoughts on that?
Poor Shelley...
We finally get all the gyrations handled to get the boys in separate rooms and they're making a night of it...
03/05/2003 08:20:00 PMI may be a little early, but...
What the heck; it appears that Spring has sprung here, at least a little bit...

Spring?
Yeah, maybe...
