Onesome- Beginnings: Are there any television shows out there that you've watched regularly from the very beginning? Or for those of you not into TV, any book authors that you've read from the very beginning? Regularly? Birds of Prey a year or so back caught my interest. ...and Extreme Makeover, Home Edition has my vote this year. ...oh, and 10-8 locked itself in for both Shelley and me, but that's just because we know the streets a bit too well. On the book side, if I like an author's work, I'll generally try to read everything they've written. ...but there are way too many to list here.

Twosome- Middles: What about shows that you came into in the middle of the season but immediately grabbed your attention and turned you into a die-hard fan? Again, for non-TV fans, have you ever begun reading a series of books in the middle and then just had to read everything else in the series? Not TV; the shows mentioned above are about all I've watched recently (so maybe one per season?). ...but on the books? Oh, yeah. The earliest that comes to mind was when I stumbled across Skylark Duquesne, part of E.E. "Doc" Smith's "Skylark" series. In that second of many books, he presented the villain as the lead character; I read it and couldn't quite figure out why people were after this guy. It was only after I read the next one (and then had to go find the first one) that I figured out he was a real snake!

Threesome- And Ends: Recently, a number of big name shows have ended, Friends, Fraiser, The Drew Carey Show, and the cult hit, Angel. Did you watch any of the big finales? Have you ever been really sad to see a show go? Ok, readers, here's one for you. Have you ever read the end of a book first? Why? ;) Nope, not a one! ...and the end of the book? No, I simply can't bring myself to do that!
