OnesomImages/2006 How-- many Apples in your orchard? Didn't we just ask this one? Are you a Mac-o-phile, a Windows user, or one of those penguin people (Linux users)? Ummm... One iMac (OS 9.2.2), a coupla' Windows boxes with XP and Win2k, a Fedora Core 5 box, Ubuntu on the laptop, Debian on a tablet... The kids and Shelley are on Windows (for the moment). Hmmm... Probably the wrong questions for a member of Daynotes, -neh?
TwosomImages/2006 High is-- what in height for your family? Are you a tall group? ...a short stack? ...or a mixed lot? Shelley and I aren't all that tall (five-eight or so), and it looks like Brad may follow those genes. Daniel seems to have picked up the genetic mix from Shelley's dad: he's headed toward six-foot plus before he's out of high school.
ThreesomImages/2006 Up-- ...and down and all around: Labor Day marked the end of Summer for those of us in the US (regardless of how the plants felt what with the temperatures out West and hurricanes in the East). How about you: what signals the change of seasons this time of year for you? About all we really have to go on here is the earlier sunset. We're expecting the temperatures to drop below 100 this weekend; whether that holds or not is up for debate. Leaf turn may not happen for another few months. ...but the grapes are probably ready for harvest, and that is another sign.
