Onesome: Cups-- and quarts? Can you remember the conversions for cooking or do you have to look them up? ...or do you just use the old "this much plus a little" method? Send me to the store for "two cups of..." and you'll likely get a pint as often as a quart. ...but if we're cooking up something like my "Italian Death", it's this much sausage and that much garlic and about this amount of tomato paste and that much tomato sauce and this much linguini and four very happy diners staring blankly at the TV the rest of the evening.

Twosome: and-- how did Valentine's Day go? Do you have a chocolate hangover today <g>? Low key as Shelley and I were both working and the kids had homework that evening. ...but hidden cards abounded (or hid) and chocolate was consumed.

Threesome: Saucers-- of milk for the kittens? A pint of ice cream for you? Who gets the last snack of the night at your place? The blasted senior cat, the one without a liver who's been actively circling the drain since 1999. No one goes to bed without her smorgasbord being properly laid out for her. OTOH, she's still kicking, albeit a bit slower than sixteen years ago...
