Merry Christmas! Nope, I'll be playing catchup all week. Last night we had our family get together at my sister's place (the now-obligtory "Tiffany photo" is posted; of note: she has a new set of hands this year). ...and we spent way too many hours (into the 'wee') teaching Daniel how to play poker. ...much to the chagrin of our hosts: the kid took us all out, rather nicely too!

All in all, we had a good Christmas in the household this year. I'll post more later in the week; but since I was up playing Santa until early this morning I think I'll pack it in...

Merry Christmas, everyone!

Tuesday

I took a vacation day today, one of several I'm planning on (in an un-planned fashion) over this week and next. They boys are off this week and New Years week; but Daniel has "Driver's Ed" this week (yes, yes, yes...) and I have projects with both of them, so I'm scattering the days a bit.

Today was a blading/kickback/putter day, with more kick back than anything else: we ended up at the movies this evening with another family watching Eragon; that was time well spent in the Land of Make Believe. ...and there were a couple of promising trailers. Dinner out was also on the agenda, which puts me to playing catch-up with email later in the week.

For now, I'm going to settle in with the sound of the rain...

Wednesday

I think this is going to be a short week for me (here and at work)...

I'll let you know tomorrow.

Thursday

Yep, that's enough.
