The Thursday Threesome...

A geek-- Hey, who handles tech support at your place? You? ...the six year old? ...or someone from outside? ...and how about in your web space? No, we're not looking for techs; we're just curious. Ummm... That would be me. I build and load the machines here (well, except for the iMac). Ditto on the web space; I don't herd the servers, but short of that, it's mine to blow up!

in the-- computer? Just a curiosity for the designer types: what Operating System are you running? ...and which browser? Since sites can show up differently in different browsers it's more than a casual question. Let's see... Redhat Linux 8 & 9, Win2k pro, Mac OS 9.2.2 for me; the rest of the family runs a mix... My browser of choice is Firefox, hands down. ...and that's on both the Wintel and Linux platforms. IE 6 lives on for site tests and IE 5.1 and Netscape 7 live on the Mac. Konqueror and Galeon have their uses on the Linux boxen...

Family-- Do any family members read your place? Do they care? Do they have a clue? ...and how about your 'off line' friends? ...or do you supply a little bit of separation there? Shelley reads my sites from time to time. The boys follow the blog for the pics. My sister and my mom also drop by here from time to time... Offline, I don't advertise that I have sites, but a few people have wandered in and then out again...
