Shades of grey...
The oncoming storm washes out a color shot...
03/13/2003 08:53:00 PMOnesome: Blue- Mac brought color into the scheme of computer things. What color would your computer be if they offered custom colors for PC or Mac? Black! With cutout panels on the top and sides! ...and blue cold cathode lighting inside. Yeah! ...but there's this money thing <g>.
Twosome: Screen- Hey how about a quick survey? What type of screen are you running, CRT or LCD? ...and what size screen would that be? Uh-huh, and that would be at what resolution? Designing minds want to know... LCD; 15"; 800*600 on the Windows box, 1024*768 for the Linux box...
Threesome: of Death- Have you ever had a catastrophic computer crash? Could it be revived or did you have to pronounce it dead? Oh, such glorious crashes I've had over the years! From dead HDDs to motherboards that just refused to play... I've been able to recover most of them; but since I leave most stuff on the server, it usually isn't too bad. ...'cept for the bookmarks. ...and the email addresses. ...and that one file I'd just saved locally before I finished working on it. Heh.
Hey! What's your story? Let us know, over on The Back Porch...
Unbelievable...
Patti's son sees a baby running down the sidewalk by itself. ...and it's a parent's idea of teaching a lesson!
I have two kids. Sometimes there are lessons taught. Never in an uncontrolled environment...

Blading update...
Yep, get it while you can! I'd missed two nights (concert and concert recovery <g>) after getting back on track all three days of my extended weekend. ...and we have serious weather coming in tomorrow night through the weekend. Yeah, listen up, Linda, Lori, Sarah and Cecil; this series is headed right for you after it gets done here!
But for now, tonight's run was worth the effort to get out after work. It's the first weekday evening since fall that a tank top felt better than a t-shirt. Yeah, that warm. ...and the winds were light enough for me to notice when I was going faster than the tailwind and generating a headwind of my own; that's kinda' fun.
Yeah, I think the warmer weather may be here to stay after these storms blow through...
