The Thursday Threesome...

Onesome: Breakfast- It's the most important meal of the day. Do you eat it every day? What's your favorite breakfast? Nope, some days I don't eat until noon or so. ...and yes, I do know better <g>! ...but when I have a moment or two, I love to cook up an omelet and chow down.

Twosome: Lunch- Where's your favorite place to to go out for lunch? Or do you brown bag it? I eat in at the office, usually a half sandwich every few hours. I prefer to spend my lunch hour time heading home at the end of the day...

Threesome: and Dinner- Do you cook at home or prefer to grab burgers on the way home from work? What's your favorite meal? Shelley handles the dinner duties most of the time, so I'm out of that loop a bit. As to my favorite? Probably a good burger....

Fungus...

Yep, Lori, and Moosie and Connie and Ken dialed it in as a tree-dwelling mushroom...

I'm leaving that shot uncropped and even putting a larger image behind it so you can see the leaves and the new growth from the roots and even the car in the background and maybe get a sense of the size of the big one. These are rather large (like almost a foot across on the top one).

...and we're not in the mountains or in a humid climate; these are growing on a divider between a very well-trafficked road and a frontage road in what is essentially a desert where we've had no rain since April and the temps are still running in the nineties...

Amazing...
