Derivations...

I haven't updated Derivations for a while... Here are two recent pieces for your perusal:

Erika Nelson painted Zoe from the photo I posted here; the full sized (8x10) water color is available from her on eBay. I'm thinking it would also make a nice wallpaper...

The Thursday Threesome...

Onesome- Last: What's the last thing you do each day before heading to bed? Do you sit down with a cup of herbal tea? Read a bit? What's your evening routine? Do you settle in early or are you a night owl, winding down long after the rest of the household is in bed? Oh, I'm a night owl all right! Part of that is by choice, part is habit and part of it is innate... My 'routine' really doesn't start until the family settles down for the evening (at least Brad and Shelley; Daniel seems to have inherited my late night habit). It's only after it's quiet that I can find the space to post here and on Daynotes. ...and work on other projects. ...and put the cats to bed (the kittens each with their pet boy). ....and then maybe read a bit (or a lot) to unwind.

Twosome- Day: How do you start off your day? Do you stumble to the kitchen and turn on the coffee maker in a sleepy haze? Or do you wake up refreshed and rarin' to go? Maybe somewhere in the middle? "Not a morning person" doesn't even get close to the truth.... Even the step down shower/tub is a challenge. I've ended up at work with different colored socks. It's all a blur...

Threesome- of School: What's your fondest school memory? Whether it be from childhood or college, let us know! Hmmm.... That's a tough one. I'm thinking it may be waterskiing with friends my freshman year of college; we had one day when we'd get out around noon in the Spring semester. That was pretty cool...
